The Gorilla Mat was EXACTLY what I was looking for! I have a carpeted basement where I workout and the "tiles" that interlock were not doing the trick. My new mat is perfect – sturdy for working out with or without sneakers, stays put, and the large size is awesome. I got the midnight blue color.

Great for HIIT and other workouts

I got this mat after having one that was made up of puzzle-type pieces. I got sick of that one coming apart and wanted one that was a single piece for high intensity exercise. This mat is just what I was looking for. I use it for HIIT, strength training, kickboxing, and yoga workouts. It's very versatile and seems sturdy and well-made. There was a slight odor when I first received the mat, but it went away after airing out for a day.
