Can I wear shoes on the exercise mat?
Yes. It's made for shoes: athletic shoes, cross-trainers and weights, through HIIT, plyometrics, jump rope, kickboxing and dance. Prefer to train barefoot? Our 8mm yoga mat is made for bare feet.

How thick is it?
1/4 inch (6mm) in seven sizes; the 7′ × 4′ is 5/16 inch (8mm). Firm enough to stay stable under shoes and weights, with enough cushion for burpees and jump rope.

What size exercise mat do I need?
The 6′ × 4′ is our most popular: one person in an apartment or small room. The 7′ × 5′ gives a living room space for side-to-side moves, and the 7′ × 4′, 8′ × 4′ and 10′ × 4′ add length for taller people and long, narrow rooms. The 9′ × 6′ fits a dedicated workout room, equipment or a partner; the 12′ × 6′ and 15′ × 6′ cover a full home or garage gym.
Which floors can I use it on?
Any flat floor: hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl, concrete and carpet, in a living room, bedroom, basement or garage. The circle-pattern bottom grips the floor so the mat stays put; on thick, plush carpet, rug anchors add extra hold.

Can I put a treadmill, bike or weight bench on it?
Yes. It works under treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes, weight benches and squat racks, and under a vibration plate or mini trampoline, and it protects the floor beneath. Very heavy equipment can leave an imprint over time.

Will it make my workouts quieter?
It absorbs shock and dampens the thud and vibration of jumping, dancing and cardio, which matters most on hard floors and in upstairs rooms.
What comes with the mat, and how do I clean it?
Every mat comes with a microfiber towel, a carry bag and two straps. Wipe it with a damp cloth after a workout; for a deeper clean, use a few drops of mild dish soap in warm water and let it air-dry flat. Skip bleach and disinfecting wipes.

Bought for my new home gym. The flooring in there is linoleum on cement and I needed something large to help absorb impact but also easily moveable if I didn’t need it. This fits the ticket! Definitely worth the money!
This exercise mat allows me to do strength building floor workouts without experiencing tailbone, knee, elbow or back pain. That’s a win for my 62 year old body!
Mat does not smell. It rolls out and stays flat right out of the gate. I use for kettlebell workouts. Very smooth and stable movements on this mat. It holds up well to training shoes and the weight of placed kettlebells between sets. The microfiber rag and storage sack are nice, too. Very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend. Thanks!
I purchased this mat for my Pilates studio, and while it’s not as cushioned as the last one(Airex) it is awesome for grip: think TRX in which the Airex moved! It’s size is also great!
The mat is amazing. We do a lot of weight lifting in our basement which has a ceramic tile floor, and this mat provides enough cushioning for everything! We will be purchasing more to cover more area :)
